Eipilepsy

Epilepsy can affect anyone at anytime. IEA works to promote the welfare and interests of people, and their family members, with epilepsy and to increase public awareness.

We endeavour to provide answers to the questions and concerns for the individual affected as well as family and friends. We wish improvement in the quality of life for people affected by epilepsy, and enabling individuals to reach their full potential within the community. Please feel free to contact us.

There is a lot to learn about epilepsy and seizures. It does not matter whether you have just been diagnosed or had it for over years together, gaining more knowledge on the subject can be very useful and help leading a better life. Here you will find a great deal of information about epilepsy and its effects on all aspects of life.

  • Epilepsy is not contagious.

  • Epilepsy does not affect a person's power of thinking or intelligence generally. In fact, history records the names of many famous individuals who reportedly had epilepsy.
